The Castle of Caprarica is located just outside the center of the charming town of Tricase, whose baroque center, restaurants, shops and bars (including Pharmacy Balboa, a bar that is partly owned by Taylor Hackford, Oscar-winning director and husband of Helen Mirren) just a few steps away. The Adriatic coast, on which are located Tricase Porto and Marina Serra, fractions of Tricase, can be reached in 10-30 minutes by car. Also nearby is the Ciolo, Marina di Novaglie, Santa Maria di Leuca and the sandy beaches of the Ionian coast.

A 45-minute drive along the scenic coastal road, you will find the beautiful Otranto with its castle, the beach and the old town. The beautiful and baroque Lecce, meanwhile, is only 50 minutes by car and the fortified city of the island of Gallipoli is even closer. You won’t be short of things to see and do!
