Land With 33 Pajare Overlooking The Sea For Sale In Leuca
Description
Santa Maria di Leuca, Gagliano del Capo, Salento - Puglia
Just 3 kilometers from Santa Maria di Leuca, on the Adriatic coast, D'AMICO IMMOBILIARE offers for sale a land of 73,000 square meters with olive grove and 33 pajare (trulli), located on the cliff overlooking the sea. The land is characterized by the presence of Mediterranean maquis and dry stone walls throughout the property, which shape the terraces. Of the 33 pajare, some are with two and three compartments, stacked and medium and large.
On this property, a project carried out in collaboration with the Park Authority S.M. LEUCA-OTRANTO has been prepared. It provides for a settlement of diffuse residences. Since the land consists of a series of individual plots of about 1,000-4,000 square meters of surface area, on average three or four pajare fall on every 4,000 square meters of land lot. They can be used for one or two bedrooms, one for the kitchen and the other for the bathroom. For each is allowed a pergola for shade, water reserve and biological tank. There are two common parking areas, from which you can reach the housing units through paths or mule tracks.
The property lends itself perfectly to a luxury B&B.
The land overlooking the sea with 33 pajare is located in Santa Maria di Leuca
The urban center of Gagliano del Capo is 61 Km. from Lecce, while the Airport of Salento (Brindisi) is km.113.
The municipality of Gagliano del Capo also includes two hamlets: Arigliano and San Dana.
Santa Maria di Leuca, in the past was administratively divided between two municipalities. One is that of Gagliano del Capo, to which belonged the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Leuca. The other one is that of Castrignano del Capo, to which belonged the part between Punta Ristola and Punta Meliso. Today it has been agreed that Leuca falls entirely in the municipality of Castrignano del Capo. More precisely, Santa Maria di Leuca is the area above the promontory on which the Basilica and the lighthouse are located (which with its height of 48.60 meters and its location at 102 meters above sea level is one of the most important in Italy). while the seaside resort of Leuca is located lower and is between Punta Mèliso to the east, at the foot of the promontory, and Punta Ristola to the west, the extreme southern edge of Salento. According to a nautical convention, Punta Mèliso is the point of separation between the Adriatic coast (to the east) and the Ionian coast (to the west).
Of note is the beautiful stretch of coast falling in the municipal territory of Gagliano del Capo, in particular the town Ciolo famous for the nightclub Gibò.
