It has a hilly terrain, and is nestled between the mountains and the sea… although well watered and fertile, it is difficult to farm efficiently, thus the landscape has been looked after by small farms, and small industries in the little villages. For this reason it has remained unspoilt, with the cultural towns of Urbino and Ascoli Piceno the region’s jewels. Great food, fine wines, and wonderful climate make it a new destination to explore.

Two popular little Italian towns, Sarnano and Amandola are just 10 minutes in each direction.

The house is about 1hour and a quarter from both Ancona, Perugia and Pescara airports, served by Ryan Air to London, also British airways to Rome or Bologna. From Europe Brussels, Charleroi, Dusseldorf Weeze, and Krakow, Poland. From USA fly to Rome.

The beach is 40 minutes, with blue flag sandy beaches and shallow water; and skiing in winter just 20 minutes away in the mountains. The house is situated on a very quiet stoney road, walking directly from the house is possible, through woodland and quiet roads.

Italian Food: Food is a passion for the people of Marche, you’ll re-discover long lost flavours, bursting from all the fresh local produce of this fertile land. Tomatoes ripen on the vines, fruits soak up the sun and taste extraordinary, local olive oil and herbs pack flavour into rustic recipes. Along with locally made wines, some award winning, this area is a real 'get away' to safe and healthy living!

The Sibillini National Park has a wealth of mountain activities and discoveries as well as breathtaking scenery. With over 70,000 hectares it’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
