Villa Surre is the genius creation and imagination of the Milanese born architect Giuseppe Sommaruga (1867 - 1917). Built in 1912, this is a rare and complex example of pure elegance and haute bourgeoisie and a pure work of art. It's an enchanted place where art, nature and elegance meet and blend into perfect harmony, all that coupled with the enchanting views over the western coast of Lake Iseo. Sarnico is now one of the most attractive tourist resorts on Lake Iseo, the town still retains a medieval structure in a semi-circle to the layout of the ancient city walls.
