ECO Lifestyle and Lodge is an intimate boutique hotel located on the idyllic East Coast of Barbados. Nestled within the Bathsheba community, ECO’s location is quiet and unspoilt. Designed with comfort in mind, ECO features 10 rustic-inspired bedrooms spread across the main house and cottage. With enviable views facing east towards the Atlantic Ocean, each bedroom is further complemented by upcycled antique furniture, dark wood flooring and local mahogany craftsmanship.

Steps from the main house, amongst perfectly manicured tropical gardens, the renowned ECO Restaurant offers an innovative farm to table menu. In a truly picturesque setting, cascading saltwater pools lie on a wooden deck which overlooks the gully and Atlantic Ocean, affording one of the best views on the island.

Beautifully handcrafted wooden steps lead to the newly constructed Cob Sauna. Crafted using ancient building methods, the sauna’s thick walls are made from a mixture of clay soil, sand and straw. Past the sauna, the path continues through the gully, alongside a small stream, and into the fishing village below.

Just a short stroll away is the Bathsheba to Bath trail which is one of the most stunning trails for adventure seekers. Recently, the trail has been extended from Bathsheba to Cattlewash and includes the new bridge over Joe’s River. For avid surfers, ECO is mere steps away from Soup Bowl; one of the most iconic waves in the world.
